Throughout my career, I have enjoyed many executive positions in leading business units and technology departments, and thrived in speaking both business and technical languages.

Skills
I am a self-taught programmer. My recent journey started when I needed to extend my trading tools to the web, so I had to learn new technologies
to fulfill my own requirements. I use Django to build my backends and APIs and I dabble with HTML/CSS/JavaScript (beginner React) to build my UIs.
Also, coming from an IT Management background, I find it easy and joyful to setup servers and resolve any kind of IT-related issues.

In July 2019, I joined a team of Algorithmic Traders. The main activity of the business was selling Trading Robots where my role was the Lead Developer of such algorithms, in addition to continuous maintenance and optimization.
In parallel, I created backend systems in Django (Python) to provide APIs to most of the robots. Such projects quickly became complex when moved to production, specially when the need for background task scheduling arose.
Django by itself is a robust framework to create backend systems, but I needed to compliment my knowledge with front-end technologies, so I landed on JavaScript and React, and now slowly transitioning into a full-stack developer (Django + React).

Reporting to the CEO – I was responsible for digitizing and improving business processes, as well as managing all IT Projects.
- Launched a company-wide improvement project to diagnose weaknesses and/or process inefficiencies, and came up with solutions where technology and automation are the key contributors. Projects include:
- Claim Centralization.
- Workflow System to manage Non-Motor Quotations.
- Rebuilding the Motor Portal and addition of new services such as “Vehicle & Driver Search”.
- Built a Business Intelligence dashboard for online management reporting and quick decision-making.
